About me

I am currently employeed as a full time Controlls Engineer at Chicago Dryer.

Alumnus of Worcester Polytechnic Institute 2019

B.S. Robotic Engineering

Dual minors in Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering.

At WPI the Robotic Engineering program is a combination of Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Science.

I became passionate about robotics in high school when I was a leading member of my school's FIRST robotics team West Side Boiler Invasion (FRC 461). During that time I became proficient in Computer Aided Design (CAD) and some manufacturing processes. I was also my team's driver for three years.

During my time at WPI, I discovered I enjoyed programming for robotics and began to switch my focus from Mechanical Engineering to Computer Science.

Hobbies

In my free time, I enjoy my passion for working on maker/DIY/home improvement projects. My projects are eclectic in their variety and skill sets used. A common theme for my projects is a focus on aesthetically pleasing objects with unique functionality.

Traveling by train or bike through my city or through the world give me great joy.

Travel

In part due to growing up the son of a Spanish imigrant to the U.S. and a professor who traveled a lot for work, I've been privilidged to have the opportunity to travel to many places during my life.

“Travel is fatal to prejuidce, bigotry, and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one’s lifetime.” - Mark Twain
